  1. If you’re city is that god awful that you need billboards reminding people of the basic aims of social order, you must a fucking awesome underground nightclub scene.

      1. “We are trying to have a civilization here” – yet another Templar line I would wear proudly.

        1. Billboards like that are normal here in Mexico. No kidding. The only thing missing is an elaborate gobernamental logo.

    1. “Welcome. Welcome to City 17. You have chosen, or been chosen, to relocate to one of our finest remaining urban centers. I thought so much of City 17 that I elected to establish my Administration here in the Citadel so thoughtfully provided by our benefactors. I have been proud to call City 17 my home. And so, whether you are here to stay, or passing through on your way to parts unknown, welcome to City 17.”

  2. Wow, if this is what one city in Arizona is like, as a former Central Washingtonian I’m really wondering what the Yakima area is like.

    1. I’ve sorta gleaned the impression that Templar isn’t really like any of the typical cities in our version of Arizona. I think maybe it’s more like someone broke hunks offa NYC, Chicago and LA, glued them together with hip transplants, dipped the whole mess in classical antiquity and then dusted it with Viking.

But that’s just a vague impression…I guess I’m saying TAZ appears to BE one of the big, crazy-ass burgs in this universe.

  3. That’s right, Spike! Hold a mirror to the world! Show all the faults!
Of course, this is like a mirror world, so she’s holding a mirror to the mirror world.
Well, it’s an ALTERNATE world, not a mirror. She could hold a mirror to the alternate world, the real world, or the mirror world, and she could alternate mirroring worlds.

    1. Height in feet and inches – Scip thinks Ben is 5 foot and 6 inches, Ben says he’s 5 foot and 5 inches.
