Chapter 5: Lit, page 30.

Don’t be such a snob, Barney.

By the by, the latest bonus comic (and bonus additions to the Templar Moms series) is darn near paid for. With a $400.00 goal, this stuff will likely be ready to read any second. Feel like bumping it over the goal?

  1. Ooh, that’s not a good look on Barney’s face. Speaking of faces, I reread from the start. It’s amazing how much more expressive Spike’s characters have become, but at the same time it doesn’t really look like much has changed.

  2. Wow, didn’t see the Tuesday connection. I expected the bit about the Oarlock Doves, thanks in part to Hanna’s predictions two pages back. Poor Barney John, he’s about to get a crash course in Media Relations. This will include such topics as Talking to @$$holes, Looking Calm When You Just Want to Strangle Someone, and the ever popular How to Live With Prostituting Your Principles(It’s for the Greater Good).

    1. Reposting my last one:
“4) It’s Templar, and whatever happens is nothing I could have guessed. :-D”
I think this fits that one. XD

  3. You live in an idealized world, Barney. You are going to have to be a little world-savvy if you want your dream to succeed.

But maybe if you talk to the right people, you’ll make it happen without having to compromise your principles.

    1. I’m surprised they haven’t already tried to cash in on Barney’s disability (loss of hand)… :-P

    1. NOOOO!
Er, at least, not for my demographic. I’m sure there’s some audience that would appreciate. Just not for general broadcast. Please.

      1. You HAVE seen Tuesday sans clothes? She and Barney rate about the same on my “Ewww!” scale. . . o_o

  4. Not just Tuesday, they need Nick on their side too, and add in Morgan and her Pornhusker… erm, Cornhusker blog/whatever she’s got coming, and then you’re all set – although there is such a thing as too much publicity. If the hardcore RECers start thinking their leaders have jumped the “anything for publicity” bandwagon, there might be a revolution inside the revolution, so to say.

  5. Just finished reading through the archives. Not sure why I hadn’t heard about this damn fine comic before. *negotiates with the Exs hostage takers*

        1. Reminds me of the TAZ boobchart Spike made, which had Moze right smack in the middle of it.
Tuseday wasn’t on it, possibly because, as Wood said, she has no boobs.
          Vegans, man.

  6. Tuesday is way too emaciated for boobquakes. I suspect she can only aspire to the occasional jiggle.

  7. @ the Exs comics:
Sunny’s was my favorite by far. She also seemed like the only one who didn’t harbor a grudge, aside from maybe Lucky. Kinda odd. Given Sunny’s temper you’d think it would have been a series of explosive disasters.
I love these little bonuses, though. Like a glimpse into a character’s secrets.

    1. I don’t know about the second-to-last but I think the last one is Sunny’s. Look at the kohl eyeliner.

  8. I’m really digging Dinah’s face; both the gorgeous yelling panels and that semi-awkward, pensive 8| that seems to be her default expression.

(Also, am I the only one who keeps thinking “well, blood quantum or not, Barney and Dinah are both Jewish, so…” wrt the tatt and necklace?)

  9. The last Mom has got to be Sunny’s. I thought the second-to-last Mom was Pippi’s, but I suppose she could be EJ’s, or even Biggs’.

    1. I also got tripped up on the last two moms, but I’m going to agree that the last one is Sunny’s, if only because Moze’s mother was shown and she’s also egyptian.
Second to last mom is a bit of a toss-up between Pippi and Biggs. (I am going to assume you meant Biggs instead of Ben.)

      1. Totally meant Ben on the last mom, but you’re right, she looks like Sunny’s mom more than anyone else’s (+ all the Egyptian stuff I somehow missed).

Second to last mom’s gotta be EJ’s though, something about the glare.

  10. Yeah, Pippi and EJ have a pretty similar sulkface, so it’s hard to decide. Hell, maybe they’re related. Wouldn’t that be a lulu of a plot twist?

  11. While I still hate this guy’s communist agenda, I can’t say that I don’t respect him a little more after this page.

    You’re nothing without your principles.
