Bikeshare is actually a real thing; my university campus does it. I don’t think it’s ever caught on in the mainstream, though.
We have Bikeshare in inner-city Melbourne (Australia).
Pretty sure Bikeshare’s in Toronto (Canada, the country from which I hail) too.
Bikeshare in most capital cities of Australia, usually around the University.
Also car share places in Sydney, can’t say for other capitals. Including, of course, parking spaces for sharedcars where there is no other parking available. In an attempt to encourage the practice.
Stockholm, Sweden has bikeshares.
There are bikeshares in Chicago, which I’m becoming more and more convinced is the real basis of Templar.
