Am I the only one who finds it ironic that the *smoker* is talking about people “mouth-breathing their own doom”?
Cognative dissonance and compartmentalization. These things allow the marvelous human mind to be brilliantly stupid. That “vegetable matter” has toxins of all kinds that lead to cancer.
I work in a salon with someone that is obsessed with the chemical fumes created by colors and various services we offer, flipping out of someone is doing a keratin treatment in the same room with him. We have to have a fan blowing the offending particles away from him, and we have to prop the door open to create air flow. Yet he regularly steps outside during the day to light up a Marlboro Light.
