  1. By the way, y'all already know about Bibliodyssey, right ?

I can also recommend A Journey Round my Skull if you like illustration, and Monster Brains, who's all about pictures of monsters in every form of art (from renaissance engravings to B-movie posters).

  6. Nope, although I wish i did.

Fun fact: If you have a hard-on this big to be "persecuted," not only have you never actually experienced persecution, but you have no idea what persecution is.

No, please don't. He'd totally get off on it. He'd be telling his friends about it for YEARS.

This actually isn't so much "magical" as "gigglefit provokingly bad" but this seemed the best place for it:

And that, children, is why you should buy expensive, good-quality pet food. I wouldn't call myself someone who spoils my animals- they have far more knotted up socks to play with than $10 toys they'll destroy in minutes anyway- but I do probably spend almost as much on their food as I do on mine.

Because I don't want them to eat euthanized pets.

Nowhere near the top 100, obviously.

  24. Where's comic sans?

Comic Sans is a compound, not an element.

Coincidentally, it has the exact same chemical properties as cyanide.

Papyrus is not a chemical at all, nor a compound, but a parastic infection commonly identified by subconjunctival hemorrhaging, and an onset of dysphoric mania.

You kidding me? Tablets of comic sans should only ever be handled by trained professionals with a glovebox on hand for manipulation of the tablet.

  29. The New York Time Magazine piece on the phenomenon of 2D Love...

At 37, Nisan is already balding, and his remaining hair has gone gray. “I can’t eat meat because of my diabetes,” he said, chomping on a forkful of lettuce and okra. “I’m just an unlucky guy.” As Nisan and I talked, Nemutan stared demurely at her pumpkin soup. It was a national holiday, and the restaurant was packed with young families. Several mothers gave Nemutan inquisitive looks, but the majority seemed not to notice her.
