MemberHa! That image is from Warren Ellis' board. He has a weekly ReMake/Remodel thread where he posts some obscure pulp superhero and lets artists go nuts. Quite a few of the artist are actual professionals so you get works like that. And at some point in the 30s there was totally a hero called "The Flamingo"; guess people had different standards for what was tough back then.

MemberOkay, wow. For the first time, I feel like I have something truly new and "exciting" to add to this thread: Cop a Squat. It's a blog, abandoned sometime last July, of images of people squatting. What's weird, is it's kind of inherently fetishy, and has that quality a lot of non-pornographic fetish blogs have, where they write about it almost like it's normal, making jokes, etc. But then they say things like "If you are interested in squats you should watch this video. Pay special attention to what is said 19 seconds into the video." But apparently it's not a fetish site? Plus it's run by a woman. Also, her other blogspot blog has three posts, in which she wants to make a "big-girl"-sized child's jumper, is looking forward to her trip to Disneyworld, and is obsessively checking ebay prices for American Girl dolls.
