  1. Oh god. Ohhh god. I never thought that sentence could ever be so alarming and ominous.

…That’s from his daughter, isn’t it? She sounds like the type to dot her i’s like that.

    1. Could be Scipio. Maybe Bash had more reason to make assumptions about what went on that night than it seemed…

        1. We already established that Bash’s daughter dots her i’s with hearts based on the markings of the boxes he hasn’t unpacked, that his daughter sent on to him.

    2. if you cut it off at the bottom of the nose, he could be smiling, smiling my kind of smile and laughing my kind of laugh(lumzahezhe)… then again he might be coming down off of that stuff, and is not able to smile, just beg for to get whatever misc dope they have in this universe.

  2. Oh crap! I didn’t expect the chapter to end suddenly. Oh man, Chapter 5 is going to rock so hard! Also can’t wait for intermission :D

  3. OH MAN OH MAN OH MAN

WHAT IS GONNA HAPPEN I HAVE NO IDEA

eeeeeeeeee yay for what’s probably the oncoming inciting incident for the overall plot or whatever eeeeeeeeeeeeeeyay!

  4. I’ve loved this chapter so hard.

PS–I saw on your twitter that you’re planning a social hygiene poster to go with the pre-orders. Count me in favor (I lack a twitter account because I’m afraid of it but wanted to let you know this.)

  5. WILL THE ELLIOTS ROB DR. BASH?
WILL THE JAKES FULFILL THEIR EVIL SCHEMES?
WILL BEN GET THE GONADS TO ASK THAT GIRL OUT?

ALL THIS AND MORE NEXT TIME ON TEMPLAR, ARIZONA

Stay tuned for Questionable Cooking, sponsored by The Sassy Cavvy.

      1. Yup. The man has a tendency to disrobe in public when drunk.

And I’m pretty sure that *is* a letter from his daughter, who also sent him all that stuff in his apartment, possibly mentioning that in that letter.

What will happen when the Eliotts discover that Jakes live on the top floor?

        Tune in next week…

  6. I can so very see an “In Cold Blood” situation coming out of this. Oceans of blood, and they’re $50 richer. I mean shit, they probably don’t even know that the stuff Bash owns is valuable. I mean, medical curiousities from the 1800s? You need auction houses to sell all of that. Can you imagine the Elliots in an auction house? This is going to be great.

  7. There’s something that bears stating: Bash lives in the same neighborhood as Scip, Ray and Ben…and that means in the same neighborhood as the Jakes that live OVER Ben, isn’t that right? (If I’m wrong, let me know.)

If that’s true, they’d have to go into the lion’s den….
